Managing Director, Accounting and Finance
David leads PCG's Accounting and Finance Department. He is elevating the team into larger markets, and developing it to offer an even higher level of services.
David also provides leadership to PCG clients and helps them grow in several ways: by developing business plans and consulting on critical business issues; by identifying acquisition opportunities and strategic partnerships; by assisting start-up and early stage companies acquire funding from angel/venture sources, debt financing, and lines of credit; and by working closely with clients' management teams as an interim CFO/Controller.
David brings more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience to PCG. Prior to joining the company, he exercised his entrepreneurial spirit by co-founding a staffing company that grew to a $20 million revenue run rate in less than two years. He has held senior management roles in healthcare, real estate, and consulting, and was a CPA with Ernst & Young. In these capacities, David oversaw strategic planning, forecasting, and daily operations; identified savings and growth opportunities; and increased revenues and profitability. As an investment banker with Morgan Stanley, he led capital raising activities for a number of different clients. David earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting at the University of Wisconsin, and a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Southern Methodist University. He is a Registered Investment Advisor.
In his free time, David is an avid athlete. A former basketball player, he now enjoys playing tennis and golf, hiking, biking, touring the bay area wine country, and following the financial markets.
