Gail Merz
Director of Business Consulting
Gail is one of Pacific Crest Group's business administration experts. In addition to managing billing procedures, she helps our clients with workforce planning to define what employers and employees need in order to be most productive. Gail is responsible for recruiting, creating job descriptions and contracts, writing employee reviews, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and designing policies and procedures that result in harmonious work environments.
Before joining Pacific Crest Group, Gail spent eight years in medical office management recruiting, training staff members, supervising patient relations, and managing finances. In addition, she previously instructed ESL students in the Ross Valley School District, and was the Program Director for a non-profit agency promoting youth-based community activities. Gail has a B.A. in English from San Francisco State University.
Outside of the office, Gail enjoys hiking, camping, cross-country skiing, and even remodeling her family's house. She's an early-morning runner, a fair-weather gardener, and loves books and music.
