Grant Welling
Director of Employee Development
Grant focuses on employee development and related project management. He provides leadership training to staff and management teams; develops and implements policies and procedures; and assists clients with resolving challenging employee development issues. Grant collaborates extensively with our Accounting, Employee Development, and Information Technology departments to ensure that the solutions we provide are comprehensive and meet all of our clients' needs.
Grant brings extensive leadership and management experience to PCG from his role as a Chief Officer in the California Fire Service. As a Battalion Officer, Grant led emergency response teams, and budgeted and managed training and personnel programs. He is a Master Instructor with the California State Fire Marshals Office, and has earned three outstanding instructor awards. Grant is also a California Community College system instructor.
Independent of Pacific Crest Group, Grant provides pro-bono diversity education to Northern California schools and civic groups. He enjoys cooking, sailing, and swimming, and is committed to remaining the thumb-wrestling champion among his four godsons.
