What We Do and How You Benefit
Our Employee Development services are grouped into three phases that collectively offer a robust and comprehensive solution. We also offer some of the elements within the phases as stand-alone projects, and can create customized solutions for unique situations.

Phase 1: Legal Compliance Review
This initial phase covers all of the HR documentation and processes every business must follow in order to comply with federal and state law. We'll audit your employee records and record-keeping practices, review your compliance with federal posting requirements, and make sure that you have all of the documents necessary for proper, legal intake of new employees and separation of terminating employees. Together, we'll produce an employee handbook that clearly defines the policies and procedures appropriate for your business, while still remaining within the parameters of the law.

Phase 1 is fairly straightforward, and once it's complete you'll have peace of mind from knowing that your business is compliant with basic employment regulations. From this foundation, you'll be able to begin developing your team in a truly meaningful way.


Phase 2: Fundamental Employee Development
The second phase is the basis of an effective performance management program. We begin with a thorough understanding of your organizational structure, job descriptions, and performance review process, and then make recommendations for enhancements. PCG helps you to define clear goals for each employee or job function that support your business' overall goals, thereby eliminating the disconnect that is typical in many workplaces. We'll document the responsibilities of each job, establish compensation standards, and create performance review paperwork and procedures. If your managers and supervisors require training, we'll assist them in gaining the skills necessary to be more effective team leaders. We also provide recruiting services to screen prospective candidates so that your interviewing process is more efficient and effective.

The benefits of Phase 2 are significant and tangible. Greater visibility into employees' roles and responsibilities improves communication between management and staff, as expectations are far more transparent. Performance reviews become meaningful, instead of frustrating and arbitrary, because they're tied to documented goals. Phase 3: Advanced Employee Development
